Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
Could not install '/var/cache/
The upgrade aborts now. Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/
I do not remember exactly what it said but it was something like ' /usr/X11R6/bin is not empty and the installation will fail now. Remove the contents of /usr/X11R6/ bin and retry the installation.'
I moved the files hamsoft and w9wm out of /usr/X11R6/bin and then clicked the button to have it move to the next step. It executed a few more steps and then this next error came up.
Could not install the upgrades
The upgrade aborts now. Your system could be in an unusable state. A recovery was run (dpkg --configure -a).
Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/

My apologies, I forgot to mention that the error happened while updating from dapper to the edgy pre release.
