Comment 95 for bug 614993

I purged the nouveau package as suggested above and the upgrade went fine. Subsequently (the next day or so), the update manager complained that a bunch of video related packages would be held back and not upgraded. This was fixed by reinstalling nouveau after the 10.10 upgrade.
