well, as i told you before i am a new linux user and for the worst i am self taught as well so i could not find answers for that problem. never the less i tried other linux distros and now i am using a portuguese linux distro called "caixa magica" now in it's 12 release and it is working fine with no troubles as far as hardware detection is concerned. Guys at cannonical sent me a message requesting more info but as i am a newbie there are just some things that are out of my reach as finding the info that they requested and posting it. Never the less i got a reply and that shows that they care and i hope you are more experienced in linux than me so you can provide them the info they need to sort the answers out.
Hope you get better results than i did because ubuntu is such a good linux flavour.
