If you really want the package to get adopted by someone else you should www.debian. org/doc/ manuals/ developers- reference/ ch-pkgs. en.html# s-orphaning
submit a RFA bug against the package wnpp as described here:

Otherwise others will need to hijack your package -- which is not the
preferred way to go, though...
I hope you will find an adopter soon as I need a newer version of this
library in order to close #441543.
