Comment 4 for bug 102426

This bug exists in all Ubuntu versions I've tested (7.04-8.04) and it's a really important issue for totem-xine users as sound is broken in videos, produced by the majority of photo cameras :(
Btw, it seems this bug already has duplicates - see bug #102991. You can grab video/audio files for testing from that bug, Debian bugreport or bug #93076 (all these files have Linear PCM audio).
