Comment 1 for bug 327658

Until Ubuntu has an updated version of xclip, one can use the debian package from squeeze: http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/xclip

It is version 0.12-1. I had no dependency problem to install it in Jaunty and this unicode/utf-8 problem seems to be fixed.
