I'd like to ask, is enabling "proposed-updates" the only way to get VirtualBox working again for the current Ubuntu LTS, in less than seven days? I mean, without having to download VirtualBox directly from Oracle, which has its own problems (python 2 dependencies).
If that's the case, is it possible to just install those VirtualBox packages from the "proposed" repository, and nothing else, and get back to using the packages from the "updates" repository once they are released there?
Hi,

Thanks in advance.
