Sort of confirming what Rob_H said earlier - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/147429/comments/42, I've been burnt by this twice now Edgy->Feisty, Feisty->Gutsy, for Gutsy to Hardy I won't be bothering with adept as I feel more secure using aptitude that I won't get a broken system.
