Comment 46 for bug 147429

This bug only affected me when I used the pre-release repository. To recover did an apt-get dist-upgrade from bash and blindly followed apt's suggestions. As I recall I had to force the install, which I hate doing, but it worked. On my other box I waited for the official release and , although the upgrade had some bugs it worked out OK.
