I confirm I suffer from the exact same symptoms on a DELL n4010.
The keybindings are restored temporarily if:
- I open window
- or reveal the dash and close it with the <Super> key
- or open an indicator menu, click on <Super> and close the menu
But as soon as I switch to an empty workspace, the keybindings are broken again.
The system receives keyboard events because if I press CTRL+ALT+Del, the logout dialog pops-up and CTRL+Alt+Fn switches to TTYn
