I had run "compiz --debug --replace ccp > windowstacking.log 2>&1" from a gnome-terminal right after logging in.

I did not go through a suspend/resume cycle during this particular X session. Applications running included Thunderbird and Firefox plus a bunch of background stuff (like indicators) without open windows, and gmplayer. I watched a video fullscreen in gmplayer. I think no other application windows were open at the time, but am not 100% sure and I cannot totally rule out gnucash, liferea, and revelation.

I paused the video, exited fullscreen mode to make a bunch of screenshots in gmplayer. Using the gnome-terminal, copied them to the desktop. I may have moved a file to trash using nautilus, I'm not sure.

In any case I noticed a full Trash icon, opened it from the launcher, and clicked the "Delete" button. At this point the window decorations suddenly vanished as compiz had crashed. The resulting log file is attached like I found it, after restarting lightdm and logging in again. I assume that it belongs to this bug, as it mentions "windows are stacked incorrectly".
