Bug Description
Since Unity 3.8.6-0ubuntu1 an auto-hidden Launcher indicates an application focus request by displaying a small (blue) triangle in the top-left of the screen (added per bug #755286). The indicator is intended to show only when an application specifically requires attention. To reproduce:
1. Launch the Gimp, and wait. (Alt-F2 gimp [enter])
What happens: The Ubuntu button goes blue.
What should happen: The Ubuntu button does not go blue.
Problem occurs with:
* unity 3.8.2-0ubuntu1, Ubuntu Natty daily 20110404
* unity 3.8.8-0ubuntu2, Ubuntu Natty beta 2
Note that this issue does not occur with either the Unity-2D or Classic GNOME2 Panel+Metacity environment so it likely indicative of a bug in Compiz/Unity. The correct function in GNOME2 Panel can be confirmed by loading Gimp as above and observing that:
* In the Ubuntu Classic session (no taskbar button goes bold)

the issue there is not an unity one, the claim for attention is not specific to unity, it's either a compiz or a gimp issue, it's likely a dialog get denied focus on start and triggers it
