not sure who thats directed to but i did look into that bug and this is related to it by the looks of it and people are in there talking about reverting or making it where unity depends on desktop wall or desktop cube with cube rotate
and i did as Bowmore said:
remove the desktop wall dependency in the file /usr/share/compiz/unityshell.xml, i.e remove the line <plugin>wall</plugin> in the <requirement> clause on line 35 followed by a relogin.
