sorry for multiple posts but I also seem to be able to reproduce issues copying files from one drive to another using cp from terminal

im attempting to copy an iso (or in some cases multiple iso files) to a flash drive from my primary internal storage
i dont really have anything fancy setup but i'd be happy to answer if anyone has questions about my build
