Yeah, .. what's wrong with Ubuntu 16.04...? This LTS update I delayed a lot, waiting for support of the official AMDGPU-PRO driver, was really a nightmare. My system was upgraded since 7.04 and everything just worked PERFECTLY...Now I find myself with low ram warnings, Oracle java 8 system unstable with unusable graphic performance on AMDGPU-PRO. So I have to use Radeon FOS driver, much better, but still much slower than the old fglrx from ADM...and I cannot go back..cannot risk a mess on my work machine...
