Search google for "ubuntu hibernate" (http://www.google.com/search?q=ubuntu+hibernate) and the first result is entitled "Suspending and Hibernating your computer" but it's easy to miss the fact that it is 9.10 documentation, and a year out of date.
A possible solution could be to put a link on that page to the hibernate/suspend page for the current distribution, if that's possible.
