Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

No signs of trouble. installation disk passed all checksums.

You tried to use the username "staff", which I'm afraid is reserved for use of the system. Try a different username. This is bug 47861, fixed in Edgy; the Edgy installer will warn you about reserved usernames immediately rather than crashing later.

Actually, I never specified any username...the installer itself did that...
