I was trying and xfs partition. I installed using text mode and got it
up and running. The screen went blank for a bit but ipressed enter
after the HDD indicator stopped and it rebooted and now I am in.
Thanks for your help. If i ever need to reinstall i'll use jfs
instead. Thanks again
