I am facing the issue with a Lucid Lynx i386 Desktop install. I have Win7 installed already with 40GB free space on the SATA HDD on which I want to install Ubuntu. At Step 4, the "Prepare partitions" table is empty. If I choose quit and enter the Live CD desktop I can use cfdisk to find and create partitions but without Ubiquity finding it I cannot install.
