Your log shows errors such as:

This indicates a problem with your install media, not likely a failing USB stick or a bad connection. You can try copying the Ubuntu install image to the install media again to see if that fixes the problem, but you should probably use different install media.

In either case, this does not represent a bug in Ubuntu.
