Comment 7 for bug 103583

I'd also like to see it easier to select an American city in the central time zone. Chicago is on the far east end of the central time zone, and it's easy to hit Indiana / Petersburg instead. Putting something like Kansas City on the list would give a solid, middle of the time-zone option that would be easy to select.
