Also I'm scratching my head on how to improve the release process. We had 5 betas and thousands of beta testers, and the development team was dogfooding the app ourselves. I would've liked a stable perfect 1.80 but I am not sure how we could improve the number of testers and the amount of feedback they provided. :/
Anyway, most of the biggies have been resolved in the nightlies, and I hope to have 1.83 out soon. Even after I think the remaining known issues are fixed I'd like to let the code settle in the nightlies for at least a short time before 1.83.
I *strongly* suggest you hold off until 1.83.
