Bug Description
In Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, gdmsetup won't let me change the login screen. When I select "login screen" in System - Administration, gdmsetup does not open before a very long time (around 5 minutes) and cause a very intensive hard drive activity during the time it takes to open.
