Binary package hint: thunar

Hello to the Thunar dev team!

I've been using Xubuntu, formerly 32-Bit 7.04 and 7.10, along with Thunar for well a year by now - currently it's 8.04 X64 - and have had good results with this distribution so far. But the grieveous bug of regular Thunar freezes has occured from the day I started to use Xubuntu - on a completely different hardware. About a year ago, I've already posted a bugreport about this problem and saw bugreports similar to mine.

It's only by today, that I've learned how to reproduce this:

The following link is most likely the same category:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-bots/+bug/122146

Maybe also relevant:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunar/+bug/163587

The descriptions match exactly, my Thunar freezes (only with active tree view) as soon as I've pressed CTRL-H two times. Every time. It was long unclear, how it would even, but crashes have been occuring on a regular basis, sometimes up to over 15 times a day.

I don't know what's the cause of this, a buggy XFCE desktop or bugs in Thunar, but it's seriously interfering all day work.
As the mentioned bugreports (and my personal experience) suggest, this has been an issue since 2006.
For efficient work, a tree view is vital, but it's too unstable to use this mode.
So please, someone of you dev's gotta contact the XFCE dev team and get this nasty thing finally sorted.
I'm also gonna send a bugreport at XFCE's, to also draw their attention to the problem.

Thank you!
