Bug Description
running command
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
when command recognised prompted to type user password. Unable to type this (no key on the keyboard registers) therefore [sudo] password for user's machine not entered and unable to complete an install.
using Ubuntu 11.04
unable to locate package pkgname
expectation: password entry accepted and continuation of installation process
what happened: keyboard keys didn't register as entries when prompted for password
