Binary package hint: synaptic

With the new version of synaptic in intrepid the new "Quick Search" feature allows users to find packages more quickly and efficiently, however its only a "recommended" which means users dont have access to the feature without having to manually install the package.Most users wont know this and wont be able to use it.

What should happen:

Open synaptic, use "Quick Search" to find package, carry out task.

Ubuntu version: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)

Synaptic version:
