Bug Description
Binary package hint: synaptic
In the new version of synaptic in intrepid the new "Quick Search" feature allows users to find packages more quickly and efficiently, however its only a "recommended" package of synaptic which means users dont have access to the feature without having to manually install the package. Most users wont know this and wont be able to use it.
What should happen:
Open synaptic, use "Quick Search" to find package, carry out task.
