I was upgrading from 20.04 I think. The upgrade succeeded mostly as far as
I know, though something isn't quite right - I am getting occasional
unresponsiveness in the UI for 10-20 seconds. That seems to be fairly
random, definitely not to do with samba. You saw my comment that in fact
samba is working anyway? The copies of smb.conf were the same I think (once
I realised that it was working I removed my copy so I've deleted the
evidence). Also, this box has been upgraded multiple times before.

It's fair to say that I don't see this as a big issue, I just pushed the
report button because it was there.
