Bug Description
Binary package hint: rt2500
it is probably the same problem as
https:/
https:/
but I could not configure the module in any way using network-admin iwpriv and iwconfig so I had to resort to this old util.
The config util is version 1.1.0+cvs20060620 as shown by the package name, while the kernel module is version 1.1.0 beta4 as shown by
dmesg|grep rt2500
[ 45.649121] rt2500 1.1.0 BETA4 2006/06/18 http://
So RaConfig2500 can not connect to the driver, gives the message "device not found (check rt2x00.conf)" and exits.
Downloading the source for version 1.1.0 beta4 (the latest) from http://
This utility should no longer be necessary but I could not configure the driver to use wpa-psk in any other way, in fact wpa_supplicant is not supported for this driver.
P.S. to compile is necessary to add
#include <linux/if.h>
before all occurences of
#include <linux/wireless.h>
