Bug Description
Binary package hint: rt2500
Out of the box, RaConfig2500 doesn't work (fail with the well-known "device driver not found" error). I know launching RaConfig2500 requires to launch "ifup ra0" first, this is not the problem here.
RaConfig2500 requires the interface the be named "ethxx"; by default it is "ra0".
Compiling from the source (package "rt2500-source") mostly solves the problem: it creates
/lib/modules/
2500.ko
The default module is
/lib/modules/
Launching the correct module:
ifconfig ra0 down
insmod /lib/modules/
ifconfig eth1 up
...and we're done!
I guess this is not a critical issue since RaConfig2500 is not maintained anymore (AFAIK).
Cheers,
Might this be the same as bug 70120? If so, can you mark one as duplicate?
