I can confirm that on Hardy using rhythmbox or totem the sound is clicking/snapping/crackling. This seems to happen every time a menu is clicked, any window is resized, any window is minimized or maximized.
Even worse if using 3d desktop effects.
I really need some help on this, I am using an Audigy2ZS and some very good headphones (Senheiser hd 595) and want a clean sound.
Happens in flac/mp3/ogg...
