There are both bug fixes and new features. API was changed, but this is not important while there are no related packages in Ubuntu.
The main reason why I want this update: fork of this library (qxmpp-lc) was merged into upstream. So now we don't need separate package qxmpp-lc [1] to satisfy dependencies of new package leechcraft.
Dear release team,
I ask the FeatureFreeze Exception for this package. It satisfies basic requirements: /buildd. debian. org/status/ package. php?p=qxmpp /launchpad. net/~tehnick/ +archive/ leechcraft- unstable/ +packages
* Package builds fine:

* Package installs and upgrades without any problems.
* Package does not break packages which depend on it, because there are no such packages in Ubuntu repository yet.
There are a lot of changes in upstream since version 0.6.2: /code.google. com/p/qxmpp/ source/ browse/ CHANGELOG? name=v0. 7.3
