Romano, if the dkms package made it worse, then you should remove the package and reinstall the kernel package:
sudo apt-get purge alsa-hda-dkms sudo apt-get install linux-image-`uname -r`
If you continue to experience issues, please file a new bug since you have different hardware (and probably a different audio codec) than the OP. Remember to remove any /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf customization before filing the bug.
