Next time the problem happens, please check if you have a 'pulseaudio' process running. If not then please follow these instructions:

If you do however have a 'pulseaudio' process running (as yourself) and still no audio then please run:

  apport-cli --hanging -P PID

where PID is the process ID of the pulseaudio process. Then tell us the new bug ID created.
