Comment 7 for bug 139955

Disabled music in the prboom config file worked:
(via terminal)
gedit /home/(username)/.prboom/prboom.cfg

edited the below line to say:
music_card 0

saved (no music but still got sound effects, however rhythmbox piping Ennio Morricone does the job).
