I think I may be seeing this issue - upgraded to 11.04 today have nvidia drivers (MSI 7253 m/board) and can't get it to boot - if I use gfxpayload=text it appears to get further but still doesn't complete boot - stopping after scripts/init-bottom.
I have two ubuntu installations on the same disk
Same prob with both recovery mode and normal mode - or is this diff and need to open new bug?
