Comment 23 for bug 329968

Installing Jaunty without anything else installed (eg nothing at all that isn't already on the cd) should be essentially identical to running off the live cd. For what its worth none of my systems have ubuntu-restricted-extras installed so it very well could be that package causing the problem.
