OpenOffice.org crashes on exit

Every time I quit OpenOffice.org it crashes.

Steps to reproduce:
1: Open an OpenOffice.org document.
2: Quit OpenOffice.org.
3: Watch the program crash.

This happens for both the Word processor, Spreadsheet, Presentation, etc.

If I start OOo from the console, I get this output when the app crashes:
KCrash: Application 'soffice.bin' crashing...
XIO: fatal IO error 9 (Bad file descriptor) on X server ":0.0"
      after 220 requests (220 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

I might add that I have tried installing the dbgsym packages for OpenOffice.org, but it does not help providing a stack trace of the crash. Maybe this could be because of it being Java?

I am also experiencing this. I have looked around for any kind of log file to include in a bug report, however I have found nothing. Any guidance that can be provided to help us troubleshoot this would be fantastic.

This happened immediately after I upgraded to the newest OO.org.

I have a 32-bit system where this does not happen:

Question #1: Is there a problem with the 64 bit distro of OO.org?
Question #2: Could there be something conflicting since this isn't consistent across systems?

I have a new install of Kubuntu on a 64-bit system and noticed a crash every time I exit out of OO. It doesn't matter if there is a document open or if I just start it up and immediately close. I have another Kubuntu on a 32-bit system. It doesn't seem to have the problem.

I can confirm this issue in kubuntu amd64.

I confirm same issue on kubuntu amd64. With OO 2.4 no crashes, after upgrade to OO 2.4.1 a crash each program exit.
