Hi I am posting on bug no. 128308 (konqueror freezes when viewing flash) as that has been marked as a duplicate to this one
When i installed
libgtk2.0-0_2.10.11-0ubuntu3_i386.deb and downgraded libgtk, nspluginviewer works normally, openoffice also works
Presently after installing openoffice.org-gnome with the latest libgtk (2.0-2.11.6 u3) ...
a) openoffice works, exactly as Mat Kupisz describes. It also seems to start a little faster than with libgtk 2.10 (probably because there are no errors slowing it down)
b) However the nspluginviewer issue has returned. It consumes 100% cpu, and hangs. Konqueror freezes. This happens when i go to http://www.youtube.com. So it does appear that the nspluginviewer issue is also directly related to the libgtk version. (2.11 vs 2.10)
Firefox works with flash without issues.
I am using Kubuntu gutsy last updated around 3 hours back.
