OK, done. Not sure if it will help a kernel problem? Do you need some sort of kernel trace?
It hangs a second or so after "LCP terminated by peer".
Does NM load any modules into the kernel? (that are not used by pon/pppd)
Why would the machine crash from NM while pon works? Different options to pppd?
