Subscribing "Ubuntu Sponsors" is intended for when a patch is available, which isn't the case yet for this bug. For more details on that process, I suggest reading https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Sponsorship/SponsorsQueue .

I'm removing Ubuntu Sponsors from the bug for now.
