Confirming this on Dell Inspiron 1520, Broadcom wireless with Hardy and all updates to date (2008-03-23).
When attempting to connect to a WPA wireless network for the first time (and possibly subsequent times - not tested), it prompts for shared key, after key is entered, NetworkManager hangs with 100% CPU, nm-applet spins forever (or at least 6 minutes).
Downgrading to network-manager_0.6.6-0ubuntu1_i386.deb fixes this problem.
