It didn't work, I got the following message:

"logiudicev@logiudicev-laptop:~$ gnome-mount -v -b -d device
gnome-mount 0.8
** Message: Given device 'device' is not a volume or a drive.
logiudicev@logiudicev-laptop:~$ gnome-mount -v -b -d device"
