Binary package hint: nautilus
when i try to open my images directory which is a really huge folder full of images and subdirectories sorted by modification date, it takes forever for nautilus to finish loading all the files and their thumbnails. while it's loading them, the already-loaded thumbnails keep moving around in every direction rendering the whole window useless for about a minute or so till it all finishes loading..
when i tried to load the same folder in thunar after sorting by modification date as well, it didn't take any time at all and the folder loaded up in a second.. the thumbnails were probably all already cached, but still that didn't stop nautilus from going crazy every time i try to open the images folder again..
