Thank you for the video, it helps understanding better the issue. That's a pretty weird bug though, that's the first I see it mentioned and it's not happening here. Could you do

$ journalctl -f

and see if any error is displayed when triggering the issue?

is the issue specific to that folder or does it happen with any bookmark you add?
also what sort of pointing device do you use to do the click?
