The problem appears only if ecryptfs is used. A workaround is to login into your console before login with LXDM. After this you can logout from your console. I have opened a report here too: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxdm/+bug/922363
There is a link to an upstream bug report and a patch with the changes dgod has posted on the upstream report.
