Thanks for the response. I'm not in a position to restart my computer at the moment, but I'll try installing the latest upstream kernel in the next few days. I followed your instructions in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/995743/comments/5 and I've attached the output.
