Comment 2 for bug 989677

due to the nature of the bug, i'm unable to run that command. I can not get into the filesystem without using a live cd. which is how i fixed the problem. I used a live cd to run a dist-upgrade and all is well. Hope the kernel version that got updated gets pushed to the installers as well.
