OK - so to make any real progress with the underlying issue we really need a full trace of the crash, so I've spun a kernel that will dump out the stack trace with some delays inserted to allow us to take a few photos of the stack trace.

The debug kernel .debs can be found in:

Can somebody see if these allow us to capture the full crash trace, and if so, please attach photos to the bug. Thanks!
