Since util-linux 2.20-1-1, and included in Precise, setarch has a --uname-2.6 switch which enables the UNAME26 personality.

Usage:
setarch x86_64 --uname-2.6 [[program] [program arguments]]

Example:
setarch x86_64 --uname-2.6 hpacucli ctrl all show
